Introduction of Working At Height (WAH) Training

The Working at Height (WAH) training course is designed for personnel who work in elevated environments. It is designed to help participants understand the hazards and risks of working at height, and learn effective measures to prevent fall-related accidents. This training is essential for scaffolders, plant operators, construction workers, and maintenance personnel.

Upon completion, individuals will learn to identify potential risks, implement effective fall prevention measures, and be better prepared to carry out work at height safely and confidently.

Training Objective

  • Provide practical guidance on complying with relevant Acts and Regulations.
  • Review essential steps for working safely at height.
  • Understand the general duty of care responsibilities of employers, employees, and workplace controllers under the OSH Act 1994.
  • Identify and analyze hazards associated with working at height and implement measures to prevent injury.
  • Recognize potential hazards and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements related to working at height.
  • Demonstrate safe work practices while performing tasks at height.

Course Duration

The duration of this program is 2 days, starting from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Certification

Certification of Attendance will be issued to all participants upon course completion.

Methodology

A combination of lectures, workshops, video presentations, and group discussions.
