The Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) course provides participants with essential knowledge and hands-on skills needed to identify workplace hazards, assess associated risks, and implement effective control measures.

This course align with the latest requirements set by DOSH Malaysia, ensuring compliance with current legal standards and best practices. It aims to reduce workplace accidents and promote safety practice among management, supervisors and OSH practitioners across all industries.

HIRARC Training Details

Course Objective

This HIRARC course will enhance participants’ ability to apply structured methodologies in managing Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) risks. By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Define key concepts such as hazard, risk, and danger in the context of Occupational Safety and Health.
  • Understand and apply the risk assessment process as part of comprehensive safety management.
  • Identify hazards using recognized methods and tools.
  • Understand risk assessment matrix.
  • Explain and apply the hierarchy of controls and steps of implementing risk control measures.
  • Reduce workplace accidents and diseases.
  • Promote safety awareness and foster a culture of safety consciousness among employees at all organizational levels.

Course Duration
